Cylinders
Two cylinders, one standing as a foundation and one bended and used as a seat and backrest. The design experiments with the qualities of the cylinder and explores its possibilities. A cylinder is solid when standing up and therefore this represents the base of the chair. The other cylinder used for seat and back, has been flattened and bended in the middle to support the body in the best possible way. This intentionally makes the cylinder weak, but because of the powerful material, it becomes flexible instead and increases the comfort without compromising on the strength of the construction.
